Te Tari o Te Rōia Matua a Te Karauna ki Manukau

Kayes Fletcher Walker was established in 2014. The firm became the Office of the Manukau Crown Solicitor with Natalie Walker’s appointment to that role in May 2015. We now have 38 lawyers and 16 support staff.

As a firm we are public-spirited, diligent, and collegial. We have built a Crown Solicitor’s office that reflects its community, and endeavours to prosecute crime firmly but fairly, working collaboratively with justice sector partners to provide a timely service without compromise to principle or quality. Our aim is to do publicly important work to the highest standard.

We are a diverse and inclusive firm that takes pride in its work and in its people.

Job opportunities

Although we do not currently have any job vacancies, opportunities arise from time to time, so if you are interested in working with KFW please send your CV to office@kfw.co.nz.

Every May we have a recruitment round for junior Crown prosecutor positions (generally to begin the following February). These positions are suitable for recent graduates or admitted lawyers with up to 3 years PQE.

Additionally, also in May we seek applications for our Tauira Māori summer clerkship programme, which runs from mid-November until the end of January.
